Dr. Raina Weldon:

Dr. Weldon graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.  She spent the next four years in a small animal practice in Arizona before moving to Dallas to pursue her dream of working exclusively with cats.  She purchased the Cat Hospital of Dallas, which was established in 1988, from Drs. Bill and Cathy Eastman in 2001.

She shares her home with her husband, Winston, and their three feline children: Odin, Ghirard, and Elli.  She shares the clinic with six resident cats.

When she is not at the Cat Hospital, Dr. Weldon enjoys gardening, baking, and reading (with a cat in her lap, of course).

She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
